A year later, it is deja vu all over again, when the same energy and geopolitical tensions (Europe, natural gas, etc) are once again at the frontline, and while the theater of combat may be different, the same key players Russia and the US are once again behind the proxy conflict in Ukraine, and where Gazprom is once again the fulcrum party.
Back In 2001, all 78 passengers and crew members were killed when Ukraine accidentally shot down a Russian airliner, sending it plummeting into the Black Sea after it was accidentally hit by a S-200 rocket during military exercises.
Eighteen years ago exactly, TWA Flight 800 exploded over the Atlantic Ocean near on July 17, 1996. There were no survivors. Government investigators concluded the plane was brought down not by a missile but by a spark in one of the plane’s fuel tanks.
CNN host Anderson Cooper, however, stated today that the plane was “shot down.”
So, we have another Malaysia Airlines flight wherein something catastrophic occurs within months of the latest airline tragedy which has yet to be resolved (or disclosed publicly), curiously over the disputed Ukrainian territories, the target of a recent CIA-backed colour revolution, wherein the West’s relations with Russia have reached an all-time low since the end of the Cold War.
While CNN, spoon-feeding the preferred government narrative that MH17 flight was shot down to the public, the CIA asset Anderson Cooper accidentally let out what appears to be an inside info slip about the TWA Flight 800 disaster. TWA Flight 800 exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean outside of New York on July 17, 1996 – exactly 18 years ago. Agent Cooper said that TWA 800 was shot down. Except that the official story and the conclusion of the investigation into the disaster have it that the plane was not shot down, but a fuselage ignited a fire that lead to an explosion.
