Back in March, when I was the first western blogger to report that Ukrainian gold reserves (40 sealed boxes) were loaded on an unidentified transport aircraft in Kiev’s Borispol airport and flown out of the country. Well Needless to say there was no official acknowledgement of anything of the kind had taken place Heaven forbid, that is until now!
In an interview on Ukrainian television, the chief from the Ukraine Central Bank has finally admitted that “in the vaults of the central bank there is diddly squat gold left. There is a small amount of gold bullion left, but it’s just 1% of reserves.”
